What can I eat on my FastBlast days?
To truly benefit from your FastBlast days, we highly recommend that you ONLY consume FastBlast Smoothies and FastBlast Daily on your fasting days.
It’s important to note that your body is in one of two states at all times. It is either in the process of digestion or the process of restoration. The restoration state is when the body burns fat most efficiently. This is one of the key (and unique) principles of the FastBlast plan.
All ingredients in FastBlast Smoothies and FastBlast Daily were specifically selected due to their high nutritional content and ease of digestion. This allows the body to digest the nutrition very quickly so it can return to the process of restoration/fat burning as quickly as possible.
If you have a strong urge for solid food or savory food, the best choices are fresh fruit, vegan vegetable broth or steamed vegetables. Avoid animal protein as it takes much longer to digest than carbohydrates, fat or vegetable protein.

What do I eat on the first day following my FastBlast day?
Consume easily digestible foods on the first day following your fasting/FastBlast day.
Foods like fruit and vegetable smoothies, soup, fresh fruit and steamed vegetables are great choices. Essentially, foods that you know that your body digests well.
You should certainly be sure to avoid any foods that you know can cause you indigestion as well as fried foods which are very difficult to digest!
Can I FastBlast non-consecutive days?
You can FastBlast either consecutive or non-consecutive days, it’s more of a personal preference. Some people seem to have better results using consecutive days but both methods are effective.
Should I take FastBlast Daily on my FastBlast days?
Yes! You can take FastBlast Daily in place of or in addition to one of your FastBlast Smoothies on your fasting days. FastBlast Daily helps improve energy, sleep, digestion, reduces cravings and much more!
Does anyone ever get heartburn when fasting?
A very small percentage of people do experience heartburn when fasting. If this occurs, we recommend taking one tablespoon of raw apple cider vinegar before you have your FastBlast Smoothies and drink plenty of water in-between smoothies.
Don’t drink water just before consuming a FastBlast Smoothie as this may dilute digestive enzymes and digestive juices required for proper digestion.
Can I have flavored water products like Crystal Light or zero calorie drinks like Coke Zero?
Water with fresh lemon or lime juice is a much better option, as we highly recommend avoiding any products with artificial ingredients. La Croix is a better option if you would like flavored water on non-fasting days.
I find that I feel the most hungry around dinner time. Can I have FastBlast Smoothies throughout the day and eat a sensible dinner?
FastBlasting from lunch to lunch the following day or dinner to dinner the following day is a great option for some people depending on their lifestyle and their goals.
You simply consume one FastBlast Smoothie every 2-3 hours from lunch to lunch or dinner to dinner. Progress is a bit slower but it is effective overall.
I thought Intermittent Fasting was eating during a window of a few hours per day and fasting the rest of the day?
There are two fundamental types of Intermittent Fasting; Periodic Fasting and Time Restricted Eating. Both methods allow the body to rest the digestive tract so it can perform the necessary restorative and repair work lacking in our fast-paced modern world.
Time-restricted feeding simply decreases the window of time in which you eat each day. This allows the digestive tract approximately 12-14 hours a day to rest and recuperate before having to tackle the task of digestion again.
Periodic fasting typically calls for the participant to consume approximately 25% of their usual daily calorie intake during a period of hours or days. The U.S. Department of Agriculture daily calorie recommendations for men and women depending on a variety of variables such as size and activity level are:
Using this range of 1600-3000 calories per day, 25% is 400-750 calories per day. At 660 Calories per day, FastBlast Smoothies are the most convenient and nutritious way to accomplish periodic fasting.
I’m really hungry on my FastBlast days. What can I do?
Most people are overfed and undernourished and when you are undernourished it is very difficult to go a few hours without eating.
This is why FastBlast Daily is so important. FastBlast Daily provides a foundation of nutrition and as your underlying nutritional level rises you will not feel as hungry when going without food.
Ultimately, the whole concept of FastBlast is to provide the body with as much high-quality nutrition as possible while cutting calories in short bursts.
I lost weight on my FastBlast days but it came right back two days after fasting. Why did this happen and what can I do about it?
That is not that unusual. Intermittent Fasting can be very inconsistent in the short term but long term it becomes very consistent. It’s very difficult to create a calorie deficit of 1,500 calories or so per day and not lose weight, but it does happen occasionally.
There are several factors that can contribute to slower weight loss such as a sluggish metabolism, prescription drugs and for some women, even menopause can play a factor. Rest assured that if you continue with the program, you will chip away at your weight and ultimately reach your desired goal.
Studies have shown intermittent fasting can actually increase metabolism which could help as you continue. Try not to get discouraged, whether you choose to use our product or not, intermittent fasting is very effective for weight loss and improving a variety of health markers.
Hang in there, as some people have a very sluggish metabolism and start slowly— but when you only consume 660 calories per day, your body is forced to burn fat for energy. Intermittent Fasting can be very inconsistent day to day or week to week, but over time, it becomes very consistent.
